Illustrator/Designer Philippe Debongnie has curated the jazz and draw blog for a number of years, displaying classic art and record covers by designer greats such as Jim Flora, David Stone Martin and others, as well as a slew of contemporary illustrators invited to participate. The premise is simple: Pick a Jazz or related Artist, Track or Album you like and interpret it visually.
I don't know if it's strictly(?) jazz, but I absolutely love Soul Coughing's 'Screenwriters Blues':
Take 1: Exits to Freeways twisted like knots... in the shape of a trumpet
Take 2: LA as some kind of unsettling imperial capitol. There's a wealth of magnificent imagery all through the lyrics!
